Dissemination of a Simulation-based Mastery Learning Curriculum for Central Venous Insertion at Veteran Affairs Hospitals
About this Project
This study proposes to assess both quantitatively and qualitatively the dissemination and implementation of a simulation-based learning curriculum. We will assess change in Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infections (CLABSI), identify individual and organizational factors that serve to facilitate or hinder the implementation of this training, and assess participant perceptions of the safety culture and the effect of the simulation training on those perceptions.
